105th Anniversary of the Gallipoli Campaing International Symposium

Dear Scientists,

       The Battles of the Gallipoli, which took place in 1915 in a narrow area on the western edge of Asia, left traces of the war-torn communities that are still not forgotten and will not be forgotten, and also affected the general World War I. The front that will end the war has become the main factor in prolonging the duration of the war. Today history, international relations, geography, tourism, military science, sociology in the academic field, such as the research is still carried out in the light of new findings, research methods, and conventions continue to be investigated.

       Recent developments in the field of archivalism, the enrichment of library and documentation processes and the rapid increase in interest in the field of military history have also accelerated the production of new information on the Battles of the Gallipoli.

       New perspectives on the subject in the international community to discuss and share the new works, we are very pleased to invite you to the 105th Anniversary of the Gallipoli Campaign International Symposium which will be held in Çanakkale between 16-17 April 2020 in cooperation with The Directorate of Gallipoli Historic Site and Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University.

       General Topics Of The Symposium: Archaeology, Geography, Educational Sciences, Economics, Journalism and Media, Fine Arts, Law, Library Science, Museum Studies, Music, Health Sciences, Art History, Cinema-TV, Political Science, Sociology, History, Tourism Studies, Turkish Philology, Turkish Folklore, International Relations and other science covers topics in the field of Social Studies.

Scientists and researchers who wish to participate in the symposium by filling out the application form located on our Web page with your resume, publication lists, and abstracts of papers will consist of 300 words at least until the date of 10 January 2020 should send it to the address; sempozyumcanakkale@gmail.com accommodation and transportation will be provided for the participants whose notice has been accepted.
